Solutions Architects (Multiple Regions)
Appature is an extremely fast-growing, Seattle-based technology company that is changing the way organizations manage customer information and drive marketing results. Appature Nexus is used by some of the world's leading healthcare and life sciences organizations and is quickly becoming regarded as one of the most innovative relationship marketing tools on the market. We are looking for a Solutions Architect to work with customers in defining their business requirements, design solutions based on Appature technology, analyze and solve data source integration challenges, and assist our customers in their deployment and use of Appature Nexus.
As this is a pivotal position to our company's and customer's success, we have muliple positions for different regions: Corporate HQ - Seattle, WA, Mid-West Region (Chicago preferred) and Tri-State NY/NJ/PA. The Solutions Architect is a strategic position with broad accountabilities and requires the ideal candidate to be customer focused and results-driven. This position reports to the VP of Customer Success.
Appature has attracted a great deal of interest by many in the industry, and your primary responsibility is delivering technical, process, or consultative support to Appature clients. Responsibilities also include helping create great times as part of a dynamic and fun team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and document customer requirements for implementations
- Translate requirements into configuration and development specifications
- Analyze enterprise data sources and design integration solutions
- Assist customers with their eMarketing execution and strategy
- Work proactively to identify potential product issues, as well as seek out opportunities to expand use of product by customers
- Document, track, and manage customer inquiries
- Provide presentation and analysis support to Vice President of Customer Success, and CEO
- Assist with improving overall delivery approach and methodology
- Prepare support, training, and help documentation
- Up to 50% Travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in informatics, information systems, marketing, industrial engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience consulting or other role delivering technical, process, or consultative support to external clients (Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device industry experience a plus)
- Experience with enterprise software implementations (ERP, SFA, BI, CRM, Data Warehouses, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to communicate well with both non-technical customers and internal engineering staff
- Demonstrated strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
- Team-focus with a willingness to share knowledge, brainstorm ideas, and drive solutions
- Ability to identify customer needs, prioritize requests, and provide efficient solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and applications, strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of internet and database and business intelligence technologies
- Obsession with customer satisfaction
